Anamorphic Drawings

People always talk about ‘hidden messages’ in Art and what the artist really meant to portray with their work. Istvan Orosz takes the very same idea of ‘hidden messages’ to another level, by literally morphing his drawings and hiding another image within them. For his drawings, the viewer needs to use a special reflective kind of object, and place it somewhere in the middle of the piece in order to see the whole art work.

The drawing done around the object is extremely complicated to draw, as each line and stroke has to be stretched out considerably and drawn at a different angle, in order to achieve the final product in the reflective object. Sometimes, he also tries to make the drawing make sense without the object present, making it that much more impressive.

Below are some examples of his magnificent work. You can see how carefully and meticulously he would have had to work on the drawing in order to achieve the end product.
